She*t for Brains, an industry-focused mental health initiative, has partnered with PRINTING United Alliance to bring mental health awareness, resources and discussion to PRINTING United Expo, taking place this September in Las Vegas.

The partnership will give She*t for Brains a presence in the Expo’s Spill the Ink District, where attendees can connect with the organization and access mental health resources. The initiative will also use podcast booths at the event to record conversations with printing industry leaders, mental health experts and attendees.

Programming will include the breakout session, “Breaking the Silence: How She*t for Brains Tackles the Mental Health Crisis,” which will address stressors facing printing industry professionals, intervention strategies and ways employers and colleagues can help create healthier workplaces.

“PRINTING United Alliance’s inclusion of Shet for Brains at PRINTING United Expo is a monumental and necessary step for our industry,” says David Rosendahl, co-founder of She*t for Brains. “By opening space for honest conversation and concrete resources at the industry’s flagship event, the Alliance has shown leadership and compassion.”

“One of our many goals at PRINTING United Expo is to create experiences that matter both on, and beyond, the show floor,” comments Joshua Carruth, EVP, expositions, PRINTING United Alliance. “Mental health impacts every company, every team, and every leader in our industry, yet it’s rarely discussed openly.”
